In other news....

Today is my 23rd birthday!

It is also the first day of my 131st period! (more or less - assuming approx. one per month)

Hard to believe.... my body has made 131 nests for 131 eggs, and still, no baby! (the first nest and egg disintegrated and began to fall out of my body on April 4, 1996.)

The mere thought of pregnancy fills me with terror. I mean, first, there's the pregnancy. A creature grows inside of you, then you push the creature out into the world through a tiny hole, then you must take care of the creatures every need. And its a human! And what if you screw it up, by not loving it properly? And this world! My God, the world is a terrifying place. Yes, it's beautiful and intricate and incredible and full of interesting things, but it's also very scary. It's a jungle, really.

This has been a nice day so far. Here's to being 23!
