life

Sunday night I went to wally world to buy a bicycle pump and I walked around and looked at all the walmart people and felt empty, oh so empty. Not in a bad way. The kind of emptiness that screams potential. I bought my bike pump and a notebook and began writing in the notebook, and it's been nice. Fun, carefree, refreshing. I draw crappy pictures, and when I feel particularly passionate, I use 3 lines to write a word instead of one line. You know how good that feels?

I am breaking free. I've been in a funk lately - watching tv every day, dreading work, and generally doing nothing in the department of creativity.

So, the tv watching is ended. Instead, in the evenings, I am doing other things.

Recent events in the world include:

5th anniversary of 9/ll attacks (yesterday)
1st anniversary of Katrina (end of August)
Alligator Hunter is killed by a sting ray (early September)
City of Dallas tries to ban the fashion habit of sagging pants (WHO CARES?!?!? Stupid hypocrits)
Humanity continues its self destruction, killing all life forms in its path.

I almost forgot! This Friday I am going to Austin City Limits Music Festival for the first time ever. I am so excited I could explode! Anybody else going who reads this thing? Call meE!!!!!!!!!! I will see Gnarles Barkley, Ray Lamontagne, Los Lonely Boys, and hopefully learn about a bunch of other cool music. Life is not all bad. :)
